Reason for running marathon-This is the one that is most local and one of my fastest.  I know the course from years of running on these roads.  Marathons you run previously:  I think I am at about 90.  The first one I ran was 1971.  Favorite place to run: Kelly and MLK Drives. Favorite Running Movie: "Running" with Michael Douglas.  Interesting factoid: I just qualified at last year's Philly Marathon for Boston.  That was the first time in 12 years.  I got in shape last year by knocking on 19,000 doors running for State Rep. as the Maple Glen Marathon Man. Favorite TV Program: Cheers reruns

Reason for running Marathon: Running as a long-run preparing for the Phoenix Marathon in January. Marathons run previously: 7.  Favorite place to run: Through the streets of Elliger Park (for the scenery), and around the track at Mondauk (for its soft surface and measured mile).  Most enjoyable race ever run: Boston Marathon in 1999/2000; enjoyed running past Wellesley College with co-eds screaming their support. One runner there actually turned around and went back so he could run past Wellesley a second time.

Although he didn't run as part of the AARC team, Ken finished just under 3:16 with a pace of 7:28.7 (just ahead of Ray, it looks like).
