2004 Spring Country Run

June 5, Rain or Shine

Stretch 2:30   Run 3:00PM

Barbecue Afterwards

If you need to get out in the country but don't have time to drive to the Pocono's or down to the mountains of Virginia, come and join us for a country run right at your back door.  Well maybe not quite at your back door.

Less than 36 minutes away in the heart of Bucks County lives Rich.  Rich has invited AARC runners to join in an exclusive AARC Country Run.  You will run past farms, climb a modest hill, pass some farm animals, see a couple of waterfalls and much more.  All in all, a scenery of beauty.

This is also an opportunity to get a small taste of the type of running experienced at the New Hampshire Reach The Beach, and you only have to travel to Pipersville, Pennsylvania. Pipersville is approx 15 minutes north of Doylestown

We will have 3 runs mapped out. A 4 mile run for the light at heart, 6 for the more adventurous and 8 for the ones who would like to see some serious scenery.

After you shower (bring your own towel) Rich thought a Barbecue might be the order of the day.

Hope you can make it.  E-mail Dana at DanaMcBride@lenfestenterprises.com or Ali at Foxavrp@juno.com if you are interested in this relaxing AARC Country Run Adventure.

Just kidding with this picture! The water fall is not this spectacular, but guaranteed, it won't be this cold.
