Kate Taylor (formerly
Fonshell) is a certified counselor, sport psychology consultant, and coach. She
earned both her MS (1994) in Counseling and Human Services, and her BA (1991) in
Psychology from Villanova University. Kate earned a spot on the 1996 Olympic
Team by winning the Olympic Trials and becoming the National Champion in the
10,000m. She was also ranked #1 in the country that year in the same event.
While attending Villanova University, Kate was a 6-time All-American and 2-time
member of the NCAA Cross Country Championship team. Her personal records are
4:26 (mile), 15:37 (5K), 32:18(10K), 1:14:17 (half-marathon), and 2:40:55
(marathon). Kate resides in Ardmore Pennsylvania, where she runs her personal
consulting business working with both individuals and groups from all ages and
abilities. She also continues to enjoy training and racing competitively.
